WHO IS KENDALL TITIML?

Kendall is an aspiring young Palauan artist currently living in Nebraska in the United States pursuing higher education and broadening his musical horizons.

Kendall has appeared in earlier records as a member of Xavier Pride in albums: XP2-Connections (2003) and XP3-Revolution(2004).

Kendall, better known as Langkach, was also a member of the band that entertained many at the Jam House during the South Pacific Mini-Games in Koror in the summer of 2005.

Kendall is the son of Serafina and the late Rudimch Titiml, founders of Belau Music Company. The label that produced many hits by great artist such as Teresa Rdulaol and Halley Eriich in 80’s and hits from Brisia, Millz, and Parker in the late 90’s and early 2000s (under BMC-Saipan, then run by his aunt and uncle Mirang and Toshi Higa).

With that history, Kendall has resurrected BMC and together with a close-knit group of family and friends have formed a new label KOTINC Records following in the footsteps of BMC brining quality music for all to enjoy.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"Music is my life. It started as a hobby, something I loved to do whenever I could, but evolved into one with my body and soul. It flows through my heart and veins. I truly cannot live without it.

I believe that music is an essential part of everyone's life. Whenever I was down and needed hope, whenever I needed to be understood and words could not help, whenever I was eager to celebrate my triumphs or ease my pains and sorrows and no one was there to help me or understand me, it was the only avenue I could turn to.

No one is immune to desperation and despair, but a dose of music could give one relief.

I am eternally grateful for this gift that God has given me, the gift of music, and the only way I can repay him is to share it with others. Find your calling and pursue it no matter what. I have no doubt that I have found mine, but must continue to master it and hopefully use my music to touch the lives of others as much as many great ones have done for me."

WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING...

"I just have to say how proud and happy I am for Langkach. Truly, this album is quite an accomplishment.  Mostly because it strengthens my belief that new genres and styles can be successfully evolved from our traditional 'derabechesiil.'

It tunes in to a different style and composure very different than what most Palauans are traditionally used to, yet, it does not venture into others; at least not enough to deem it 'non-Palauan' or '"trying to be something else.'

I apologize, but my critical nature just could not help but express itself.  I guess the easiest way to criticize this album is:

The style of music that Kendall Titiml has brought to the table is daring, bold, as well as an innovative genre to inspire future musicians to come.  His style is one that can be easily comprehended and enjoyed by both Palauans and Non-Palauans alike.  A truly international artiste."
